DAVID CHARNEY is an attorney whose undergraduate degree focus was in finance and accounting.  With a substantial amount of real estate investment experience, Mr. Charney brings a very capable legal and finance background to OLT.  His experience and demeanor allow OLT’s projects to often clear hurdles more gracefully and/or quickly than others.  Mr. Charney is also the owner of Capital Homes, one of the largest home building companies in the Tulsa area (Photo courtesy of  Leslie Gregory, GTR Newspapers).


GREG SIMMONS has evolved into the Tulsa area’s most prolific and profitable builder of single-family homes – Simmons Homes.  He is renowned for implementing systems and procedures that simplify the construction process and thereby allow his company to more attentively focus on the many details that are critical to customer satisfaction.  His success is evidenced by the fact that Mr. Simmons commenced more housing starts in 2006 than any other builder in the Tulsa area.  Furthermore, he is on pace to be the leader in 2007 again. His company was selected in 2006 to create a home for the ABC series Extreme Makeover – Home Edition.


PETE KOURTIS, whose career began as a homebuilder over twenty (20) years ago, has in recent years established a reputation as the area’s premier land developer.  His extraordinary ability to creatively envision an attractive, marketable use for land has enabled him to enjoy success after success in the land development arena.  His skills, coupled with a reputation for honesty and integrity, have caused an ever-increasing number of landowners, investors and brokers to seek out Mr. Kourtis’ evaluation and intuition about potential projects all over the state of Oklahoma.


SHARON BAKER Born in Duncan, Oklahoma, Sharon enjoyed her first career in the Oil & Gas Industry, as one of the first female Petroleum Landmen in the late 70’s when the boom was in full swing.  She then used her land and title knowledge to enter the real estate industry in the mid ‘80s and later into sales management for Tulsa companies, Rooney Realtors, Detrick Hughes & Jones and McGraw Davission Realtors.  Her love for the construction and architecture drew her into the new home market and landed her in several national builder positions over the following 15 years, from David Weekley Homes in Dallas, Del Webb’s Sun City and Anthem communities in Austin and Phoenix, and then with Shea Homes, as General Manager of Trilogy communities.  These large scaled master planned communities gave Sharon the experience and firsthand knowledge of launching and executing a development, which was exactly what the Owasso Land Trust development team was seeking for their new Stone Canyon community.Sharon’s immediate family consists of husband Bob, a Petroleum Landman of 30+ years, and daughter Carrie, Sr. at Jenks High School.  She enjoys golf, traveling and beach time.


SIEGFRIED “Siggi” GRIMM – Born, raised and educated in Germany, Siggi immigrated in 1954 to the United States and served for four and a half years in the US Army, with a helicopter unit overseas. In 1959, he came to Tulsa to further his education and received an FAA  A&P and a Flight engineers license.  In 1968, he founded “ Siggi Grimm Motors “ a car dealership for BMW, Mercedes- Benz, Nissan and Volvo, which he later sold and moved  to Dallas and continued in management with a large Luxury Car Dealership.
Retiring in 1999, Siggi moved with his wife, Ingrid back to Oklahoma and settled in Owasso, OK.  He continues his love for aircraft by hosting tours at the Tulsa Aeronautic Museum & Planetarium.


GARY TAYLOR Raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and after attending Oklahoma University started his career in the electrical apparatus industry with Cutler-Hammer.  He spent over twenty years in that field and left after distinguishing himself as one of the company’s most successful Regional Sales Managers.  Gary always had a passionate interest for new home construction and that passion led him into his next career with David Weekley Homes in Dallas.  He opened two new communities for Weekley in the southeast Dallas area that were both very successful and profitable.  For family and personal reasons,  he returned to the Tulsa area in 2008 and has continued his real estate career since coming home.  His family consists of his son, Johnny, two grandsons, Bryce and Blake and his mother, Marjorie.  All reside in the Tulsa area.  Gary loves golf and travels as much as he can.
